We’re a growing, reliable laundry service company seeking safe, experienced drivers to handle pickup and delivery routes using our 26′ box trucks. No commercial driver’s license (CDL) required—just a valid Class C driver’s license and proven experience operating similar vehicles. If you have real commercial box truck experience and want consistent hours without long-haul demands, this could be the perfect fit!
Key Responsibilities:
• Safely drive and operate a 26′ box truck on assigned local routes
• Load, secure, and unload laundry carts and supplies efficiently
• Adhere to delivery schedules and designated routes
• Perform thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Keep the truck clean and well-maintained
• Deliver excellent, professional service when interacting with clients
• Follow all traffic laws, DOT safety protocols, and company guidelines
What We’re Looking For:
• At least 1 year of recent, verifiable experience driving a 26′ (or similar) commercial box truck
• Valid U.S. driver’s license (Class C is sufficient—no CDL needed!)
• Clean driving record with no major violations
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and handle physical loading/unloading
• Availability to work weekends and holidays (essential for our operations)
• Reliable, punctual, professional attitude with strong teamwork skills
Important Note: This role requires legitimate commercial truck driving experience. We do not consider applications where the only driving background is from rideshare (Uber/Lyft), gig delivery (Amazon Flex, DoorDash, etc.), or non-commercial roles.

Assistant Plant Manager
Full-Time | In-Person
Location: Northridge, CA
Pay Range: $28+ per hour (DOE)
M & F Laundry is seeking a hands-on Assistant Plant Manager to support daily operations in a high-volume commercial laundry facility. This role partners directly with the Plant Manager to drive production performance, labor efficiency, safety compliance, and team accountability.
This is not a desk role. This is a floor leadership role.
Position Overview
The Assistant Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day plant operations, supervising production teams, and ensuring output, quality, and cost targets are achieved. You will lead from the floor, solve operational bottlenecks in real time, and ensure production runs safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Production
• Oversee daily laundry production to meet volume and turnaround targets
• Monitor throughput, labor efficiency, and cost-per-pound metrics
• Adjust staffing and workflow to maintain optimal productivity
• Ensure adherence to established SOPs and quality standards
Team Leadership
• Supervise, train, and coach production supervisors and line employees
• Conduct performance evaluations and corrective action when necessary
• Lead daily production huddles and reinforce safety and performance standards
• Support recruiting, onboarding, and retention initiatives
Safety & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and all California labor regulations
• Enforce safety protocols and chemical handling procedures
• Monitor MSDS compliance and proper chemical usage
• Maintain a safe and organized facility environment
Equipment & Maintenance
• Coordinate with maintenance and engineering to reduce downtime
• Support preventative maintenance scheduling
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend operational improvements
Inventory & Cost Control
• Assist in managing linen inventory levels and par stock
• Monitor chemical usage and production costs
• Review payroll reports and manage labor within budget guidelines
Qualifications
• 3–5+ years of supervisory experience in a commercial or hospitality laundry environment
• Strong knowledge of industrial laundry equipment and production flow
• Experience managing labor scheduling and production metrics
• Understanding of chemical usage and safety compliance standards
• Strong leadership presence and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays

Director of Engineering & Maintenance
Full-Time | Northridge, CA
Salary Range: $130,000 – $155,000 per year (DOE)
M & F Laundry is expanding operations and modernizing plant infrastructure to support rapid growth. We are seeking a Director of Engineering & Maintenance to lead reliability strategy, capital upgrades, and infrastructure development across our high-volume commercial laundry facility.
This executive-level role sits on the plant leadership team and is responsible for building scalable maintenance systems that support increased production capacity, automation, and operational efficiency.
Strategic Mandate
The Director of Engineering & Maintenance will:
• Design and implement maintenance systems that support production growth
• Increase plant capacity through reliability and infrastructure improvements
• Lead capital equipment evaluation, installation, and modernization projects
• Reduce downtime as production volume scales
• Build a high-performance maintenance organization
Core Responsibilities
Reliability & Uptime Performance
• Establish and monitor uptime %, downtime hours, PM compliance, and cost metrics
• Transition the plant toward preventive and predictive maintenance
• Implement structured CMMS reporting and asset tracking
• Lead root cause analysis for recurring equipment failures
Engineering & Modernization
• Oversee equipment upgrades, replacements, and plant layout optimization
• Evaluate automation and process improvements to increase throughput
• Partner with operations leadership to align engineering initiatives with growth targets
• Lead infrastructure planning for future capacity expansion
Leadership & Organizational Development
• Build, lead, and scale the maintenance team
• Develop training programs and succession planning

Financial & Capital Oversight
• Own maintenance budget and cost controls
• Develop and present capital expenditure proposals

• Oversee boiler and pressure system safety
• Maintain regulatory readiness across all facilities
Qualifications
• 10+ years of industrial maintenance and engineering experience
• 5+ years in senior leadership within manufacturing, commercial laundry, or food processing
• Experience leading plant expansion, modernization, or automation initiatives
• Strong knowledge of steam systems, boilers, electrical systems, and production machinery
• Proven experience implementing CMMS and reliability systems
• Demonstrated success managing budgets and capital projects
• Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

M & F Laundry is hiring a hands-on Maintenance Mechanic to support daily operations in our high-volume commercial laundry facility. This role focuses on preventive maintenance, equipment cleaning, troubleshooting, and completing digital maintenance work orders accurately and on time.
This is a working-floor position. You will be expected to respond quickly, solve problems efficiently, and maintain equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on washers, dryers, ironers, folders, conveyors, and related equipment
• Clean and maintain machinery to ensure safe and efficient operation
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic steam system issues
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime
• Complete and close digital work orders using a CMMS system
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and inspection records
• Follow all OSHA and California safety standards
• Support facility upkeep including minor plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs
Requirements
• 1–3+ years of industrial or commercial maintenance experience
• Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use computers and mobile devices to complete digital work orders
