Safety & Compliance Manager

What you'll do

• Lead M&F's workplace safety and compliance programs
• Conduct routine facility, equipment, and workplace safety inspections
• Identify hazards and drive corrective actions through completion
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve safety policies and procedures
• Coordinate employee safety training and lead new-hire safety orientation
• Conduct incident and near-miss investigations, with root-cause analysis
• Manage OSHA-related documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements
• Partner with Maintenance and Operations on machine guarding and lockout/tagout
• Support ergonomics, injury-prevention, and PPE compliance initiatives
• Support driver and fleet safety programs
• Track safety performance, trends, and leading indicators
• Partner with management and insurers on workers' compensation and injury prevention
• Conduct regular safety meetings and reinforce accountability across the organization

What we're looking for

• Proactive, highly organized, and comfortable holding people accountable at every level
• Strong at investigating problems and identifying root causes
• Confident communicating with employees, supervisors, and senior management
• Capable of turning regulations into practical operating procedures
• Detail-oriented with documentation and compliance
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, warehousing, logistics, hospitality, or commercial laundry strongly preferred
• Knowledge of California workplace safety requirements and Cal/OSHA programs preferred

Schedule

Full-time, every day. Mornings and afternoons. On-site.
